See details
Majesty - by Clive Jenkins - is now out from Heritage Records. It is available as a download from Amazon and iTunes.
Clive wrote the piece for a CEOL concert at the V & A to go with an exhibition of photographs of the royal family. Since then, it has been played as the Queen herself led members of the royal family and Knights of the Garter into the Waterloo Chamber at a function in Windsor Castle.
Set in Silver, CEOL's new CD, is now on sale.

2022 CONCERTS
Peter Fisher (violin) & Margaret Fingerhut (piano)
Friday 28th January at 7.30 pm at St. Luke's Church, Brighton BN2 9ZB
Our programme starts with Debussy’s exquisite violin sonata and ends with Ravel’s dazzling virtuoso gypsy masterpiece Tzigane. In between, you will hear a charming miniature by Berlioz and Delius’s beautiful Légende. We will also showcase the vibrantly characterful and exciting music of Sir Malcolm Arnold and introduce you to Plymouth-based composer Clive Jenkins, whose Pastorale and Allegro was inspired by a herd of ponies galloping across Dartmoor.
Debussy: Sonate
Berlioz: Rêverie et Caprice
Clive Jenkins: Pastorale and Allegro
Malcolm Arnold: Sonata No. 1
Delius: Légende
Malcolm Arnold: Four Scottish Dances
Ravel: Tzigane

A concert celebrating Anglo-Italian friendship that, but for Covid, might have taken place in Italy last year. The harp and double bass items are neglected gems. Bass virtuoso Chris West’s playing is truly spectacular. Federico Ermirio’s piece receives its first UK performances at this concert. Don Shearman’s pieces will shortly appear on the Chamber Ensemble of London’s new CD STRINGS+ on the SOMM label.
